When you consider your Voluntary Annual Support Pledge for 2024-25, please consider both the privilege and the responsibility of being part of our thriving community. The following are recommendations we urge you to consider:
The actual annual cost of operations at Touro is now $3,200 per household, referred to as the Sustainer amount. For those who can do so, please consider making a gift at the Sustainer level to support the actual cost of our offerings.
You may have the means and commitment to be a Patron this year with a gift of $3,600 or more. If so, please consider joining this group of congregants whose gifts make it possible to operate under our Voluntary Annual Support model. Their generosity allows for all member households to enjoy the meaning of full membership at Touro Synagogue regardless of their financial capacity.
If you have not increased your gift significantly in recent years, please consider a gift increase of 23%, the actual inflationary increase in costs over the past 5 years. In doing so, you would match a gift of 5 years ago in real dollars. How wonderful this would be for our congregation!
