Congregational Guestbook for David Allen Margolin

Dearest friends, deepest condolences from your Bahat family. Our truth is, David will always be with us. Love, Bahats

The Bahat Family

The fact that I had the impression that he was a very genuine, personable man of strong character, immense kindness, patience, and wisdom from just the few brief discussions I had with him should speak multitudes for the person he was at all times. I’m saddened and angered at the fact that he didn’t get more time on this planet to spend with his wife and children (and one day, perhaps, his grandchildren). His family is a very apparent legacy to the honorable characteristics I described above. Jeanne, Eric, and Elizabeth are good, kind, smart people and my heart has been with them since he died on Sunday. I love you guys. – Hope

Dear Margolin Family, We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was a remarkable person…kind, fun, funny, bright, and passionate about his family, friends, patients, and profession. I remember him fondly from growing up. He was such a dear friend to my brother, Mike; and we thank Dave and Jeanne for getting Mike and June together! We hope you will be comforted by many wonderful memories of precious times spent together. Hugs, Lissy and Alan

I’ll always cherish my memories of David. He’s gone much too soon, and his death has really shaken me – but I can take solace in the fact that he lived an incredibly rich life. His beautiful family is a testament to that 🙂 Love you guys. Sending you strength.

To Jeanne, Biz, and Eric, I marvel at the incredible reach that David had to so many people. It reminds me of “Its a Wonderful Life”, where without him, I wouldn’t have met Michael which changed MY entire life. And thinking about how David has changed so many people’s lives for the better, I vow to try to be more like him starting today- humble, strong, positive and loving to everyone I meet. You are blessed to know him so much better than I, but I am blessed to even know him at all. My heart goes out to you and as I know we all must carry on, keeping his memory in my heart is something that I will cherish. Sending love and healing thoughts, June

Jeanne, Biz, Eric, Marvin & Yolande, and Betsy, I grieve along with you for the loss of David. Such an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend. I have great memories of the boy Dave was and such admiration for the man he became. He lived a very meaningful life dedicated to helping others (myself among them), and exemplified how to face adversity with effort, optimism and dignity. May his memory be an inspiration to us all. Dave, I can’t thank you & Jeanne enough for introducing me to June; getting to spend so much time with you both in New Orleans was one of the great joys of my life. We love and will miss you and when the time comes, I know you’ll be there to greet me.

Dr. Rademacher- I’m so very saddened to hear of this news of your husband. I did know him personally, but I wanted to share my deepest sympathies for you and your family at this time. Our family loves you very much and you have been a wonderful blessing in the world of pediatrics for my girls, Isabela and Liliana! May his life be forever cherished in sweet memories!
