Congregational Guestbook for Frances “Frankie” Sontheimer Wolff
Frankie was an amazing person, and an inspiration to all of us who became involved in Jewish community work in New Orleans. Much love and deepest condolences to the entire family and to everyone who loved her. Her memory will live on in our hearts.

Although I knew this was inevitable, it still saddens me to learn of Frankie’s death. Rabbi Ehrlich voiced all the attributes that I would have used. Frankie encouraged me and showed me how to become involved in the Jewish community when I first moved to New Orleans. I am grateful for all that I learned from her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Frankie through Sue, my next-door neighbor. Although I didn’t know Frankie well, I always found her to be so full of energy and great warmth. It was a true pleasure to be with her and share in great conversation and laughter. I am so blessed to have known her and will miss her. I will always think of her as a lovely force of nature! My husband, Art, and I send our very deepest condolences to Sue, Izak, and the entire family. May God and happy memories of Frankie give you comfort.

Dear Len and Sue,
Marilyn and Alan Levin
We were sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. She was certainly a blessing to those of us lucky enough to have been part of her life in New Orleans. She leaves a legacy of love and service in her NewBridge community and her lifelong home New Orleans. We have such fond memories of Frankie and Len’s friendship with Lil and Irv. We feel fortunate to have known her and been part of her world over many decades. She will be sorely missed.

Memories of a lost friend like Frankie are much stronger than to be erased by physical presence , it is engraved in the heart . Goodbye Frankie.

Frankie was my neighbor and special friend in the Charles House condos in New Orleans, LA for about 20 years. I was most fortunate to have her as a close friend. I will miss her and her wonderful spirit and cherish many wonderful memories of times shared together.
