Choir

An integral part of the musical experience at Touro Synagogue, our congregational choir adds its voice throughout the year, during the High Holy Days, Jazz Fest Shabbat and other select Shabbat services. The repertoire draws from contemporary and classical backgrounds, adding depth, meaning and beauty to so much of what we experience.

The choir is always looking for new members who love Jewish music and connecting with one another through song. With no long-term commitment required, anyone is invited to attend a rehearsal to see if the Touro Synagogue choir is right for you! Choir rehearsals are held on most Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., but please check our calendar for exact dates and times.

If you have any questions about the choir or other musical opportunities at Touro Synagogue, please call the office at 504-895-4843.
