Charitable Drives

GUIDELINES FOR CONDUCTING CHARITABLE DRIVES

Many committees are interested in planning various charitable drives during the year, including food drives, clothing drives, and book drives. We commend the interest in community service and genuinely support these efforts. The following guidelines are in place in order to ensure that all committee or social action initiatives have equal access to Touro’s facility, and to minimize clutter and overflow in collection areas. As there is limited space for collection receptacles, this is a first-come, first-served policy.

REQUESTING PERMISSION

The drive request should be completed at least two weeks prior to your proposed collection date, and must include the following information:

"*" indicates required fields

food, books, clothing, etc.
MM slash DD slash YYYY
MM slash DD slash YYYY
if applicable (Broadmoor Food Pantry, Rebuild Center, etc.)
CONDUCTING THE DRIVE

All requests must be confirmed before holding the drive.
• If applicable, drop off your collection receptacles at your designated collection location.
• Provide any information for publicity to Anna at [email protected].
• Organize and schedule your volunteers for pickups/dropoffs.
• Optional – Tracking donations and sharing results. Will you be tracking donations received? Share the success of your drive with Anna at [email protected] for future publicity or social media posts.
