Second Harvest Food Bank

Touro Synagogue  – Feeding The Hungry of New Orleans

Touro Synagogue is the year-round home to a food collection bin for The Second Harvest Food Bank serving the greater New Orleans area. To date, this bin has collected over 6,000 pounds of food.

  • Together we can make a difference.
  • Together we ARE making a difference!

Second Harvest is in need of dried goods, canned goods, cereal, canned meat, pasta and anything that is non-perishable. In any size. Bring food with you when you come for services.  Or simply drop off food when you are in the neighborhood.  You don’t have to be a member of the congregation to contribute. We warmly invite all to join in our efforts to feed and nourish our greater New Orleans community.  To make a monetary donation, or for more ways to help, click HERE.

The more we collect, the more hungry people we feed!
