Jazz Fest Shabbat 2023 | Friday, April 28
We’re thrilled to invite you to the 30th Annual Jazz Fest Shabbat and Patron Fest on Friday, April 28. It’s thanks to supporters like you that we are able to share this magical, one-of-a kind musical evening.
We hope you’ll join us for this special occasion where we’ll once again celebrate the connection between Touro Synagogue’s 195-year history and the unique rhythms of our amazing city. Together we are truly New Orleans.
For our patrons our celebration begins with our new Patron Fest: delicious food and drinks in a festival party atmosphere, along with an exclusive performance by our remarkable guest artists, New Orleans’ own, two-time Grammy nominated Cha Wa and Mardi Gras Indians. You’ll find that Cha Wa’s grand gumbo of singing, intoxicating rhythms and funky grooves are impossible to resist.
In addition, patrons have premium reserved seating for our Jazz Fest Shabbat service immediately after the Patron Fest.
We hope you’ll consider becoming a patron. Your support helps us provide outstanding musical programming throughout the year. Enclosed you’ll find information about patron levels, including our early commitment discount. To make sure we recognize you as a patron on the invitation, we need to hear from you no later than March 13.
Shabbat is a day of joy and a time for coming together as a community. Jazz Fest Shabbat gives us the opportunity to fill our hearts and souls with spirituality and magical rhythms found only in New Orleans.
From all of us, we thank you for considering this invitation and look forward to celebrating 30 years of Jazz Fest Shabbat joy.
L’shalom,
